Help Increase the Peace Project (HIPP) is the youth branch of AVP.

It is a school program, offering teachers, counsellors and students and young people communication skills for conflict resolution. And it does more. HIPP confronts prejudice and renews our hope to be agents for positive social change. The training introduces alternatives to violence and bullying and allows participants to practice various options by modelling and role playing.

During the last thirty years teams of Help Increase the Peace Program (HIPP) and Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) facilitators have run nonviolence conflict transformation workshops in schools, community groups and prisons in more than 40 countries.

In Brisbane, HIPP operates out of IN - SYNC Youth Service - Redlands.
